It all began with a simple desire to help my daughter, Moira. As a naturally creative person, I’ve always found joy in expressing myself through art—whether it was string art, painting, ceramics, sewing patchwork pillows and Christmas stockings, or just enjoying a quiet moment coloring. Growing up, my mother always encouraged our creative endeavors, and it became my favorite way to unwind and share my thoughts.

But as I started thinking about Moira and the unique challenges she faces, I realized there was a gap in the resources available to her—especially ones that are accessible and engaging for children with CVI (Cortical Visual Impairment). That’s when the idea clicked: why not create something that could bring the same joy and creativity I’ve always loved into her world, and others like hers?

Coloring was my starting point, and what began as a small project has now evolved into a growing collection of CVI-friendly resources. As Moira’s needs evolve, so do my designs. I’m excited to be working on new books and flashcard sets, with many more ideas in the works.

I’d love to hear from you! If you have any suggestions or specific colors you’d like to see, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you for visiting!

Warmly,
Rachel (Moira’s mom)
